Refund policy

Lend The Look is a dress rental service. Our process is designed to be simple, flexible, and stress-free, while also protecting the quality of our garments.

Please read the policy below carefully.

Rental Items

All outfits rented from Lend The Look are hire items, not purchases.

Once an outfit has been worn, returns or refunds are not available.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made before the outfit has been dispatched.
  • Once an order is out for delivery or delivered, cancellations are not possible.
  • Same-day orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

Any approved refunds for cancelled orders will be processed to the original payment method.

Returns After Wear

After wearing your outfit:

  • Simply leave the item outside your door at the agreed collection time.
  • We handle collection, dry cleaning, and storage.

There is no action required from you, as long as the item is returned on time and in acceptable condition.

Late Returns

Late returns may result in additional charges, as the outfit may be reserved for another customer.

Any late fees will be communicated clearly in advance.

Damage Policy

We understand normal wear is part of renting and is expected.

However, additional charges may apply for:

  • Stains that cannot be removed through standard dry cleaning
  • Tears, rips, or alterations
  • Missing parts or accessories
  • Permanent damage to the garment

If damage occurs, we will:

  • Inform you clearly
  • Explain the issue
  • Apply a fair repair or replacement fee where necessary

There are no hidden charges. Transparency is important to us.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds (where applicable) will be processed within a reasonable timeframe to the original payment method used at checkout.
